Meet The Team

Alec is the senior partner and has worked in horticulture since leaving school, initially in the rose growing side of the business, then running the hugely successful Cocker's Garden Centre and for the past ten years has focused on expanding the Landscaping and Garden Maintenance division. He has two young boys who keep him busy when he is not working.

Colin has worked for James Cocker and Sons since leaving school at 16.  Initially he was foreman in the rose growing squad and now works closely with Alec to ensure the smooth running of the garden maintenance program and takes particular pride in leaving a lawn neat and tidy.  In his spare time he follows AFC.

Martyn has worked for Alec for over ten years but has worked in horticulture his whole life, lately in a rose nursery in Leicestershire. He has unparalleled knowledge of fruit trees and shrubs and pruning is his speciality.  When he is not at work, he enjoys restoring vintage tractors.
